BABAT Membership Application  

  1. BABAT is open to all individuals actively participating in (or interested in) teaching, research, and/or the application of the principles of behavior analysis.
  2. Membership is annual and expires on December 31st of the calendar year in which it was purchased.
  3. There are three categories of membership – Full, Affiliate, and Student:
    1. Full Member – must qualify in at least one of the following categories:
      a. BCBA-D
      b. BCBA
      c. BCaBA
      d. Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Analyst
      e. Licensed Applied Assistant Behavior Analyst or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst
    2. Affiliate Member – any individual with an interest in behavior analysis who does not qualify for Full or Student membership
    3. Student Member – any individual currently in a program of study leading to a degree in behavior analysis or a related discipline and/or enrolled in a BACB-approved program to meet course requirements for BACB certification.
  4. BABAT promotes the opportunity for members to become Supporting members by contributing additional funds to support BABAT and its activities, including subsidizing memberships and conference fees for students. The designation ‘Supporting’ will be prefixed to the Full or Affiliate membership designation of any individual who pays additional annual dues of $50.
  5. Membership is not restricted to residents of the State of Massachusetts. However, only Full Members who currently reside in Massachusetts will be designated as eligible ‘Voting members’.
  6. As part of its commitment to students, BABAT subsidizes membership and conference fees for Student Members.

 Important Membership Information

BABAT is offering a free one year trial membership for individuals who sign up prior to December 31, 2018.

It is expected that all members will act in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
